In the future, SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. will rely on the Hamburg-based specialist agency for children's and family marketing KB&B. The primary aim is to increase awareness of SOS Kinderdorf among young people. With the targeted educational programme of SOS Children's Villages Campus, the association promotes the involvement of schoolchildren with socially relevant issues - and also gives them an insight into the lives of disadvantaged children and young people. Especially in the school environment, it should become easier to integrate experts from SOS Children's Villages into lessons.
KB&B was able to convince them with a sophisticated concept and its many years of expertise in the field. The next step is to create an online booking calendar that teachers can use to request experts from SOS Children's Villages without much effort. Mailings and visual offers are also to be designed in such a way that pupils can understand what the mission of SOS Children's Villages is and what SOS Children's Villages does.
"It is incredibly important that the charitable work of SOS Children's Villages is understood and honoured by all demographic groups," explains Rolf Kosakowski, founder and CEO of KB&B. "It is important to us that children engage with socio-political issues and that SOS Children's Villages stands for values such as community, responsibility, social commitment, pluralism, solidarity and family."
On the one hand, the dialogue with the young people must take place at eye level; on the other hand, the communication must also be contemporary and modern so that it is received and accepted by the young people. "That's why we rely on the expertise of KB&B, who can do both," say Axel Haasis, Head of the Private Sponsors, Foundations and Companies Department, and Dr Maria Braune, Head of School and Youth Marketing at SOS-Kinderdorf e.V., explaining their choice.

About SOS-Kinderdorf e.V.:
SOS Children's Villages provides a home for children in need and helps to improve the social situation of disadvantaged young people and families. In SOS Children's Villages, children whose biological parents cannot take care of them for various reasons grow up in a family environment. They receive protection and security and thus the tools for a successful life. The SOS Children's Village Association accompanies mothers, fathers or families and their children from the very beginning in mother and family centres. In Germany, a total of more than 4,100 employees help in 38 facilities. The association reaches and supports around 108,000 children, young people and families in difficult life situations with its services. In addition, the German SOS Children's Village Association finances 113 SOS facilities in 37 countries worldwide.
